He tugged on the reins, slowing the horse. Eventually, it stopped completely.

Nan Sichen was the first to jump off the horse, his movements were both skilled and dapper.
Qin Yin tried to dismount the horse herself, but it was surprisingly high up. She felt as if she were sitting atop a wall of flesh. Sliding either left or right seemed daunting, but staying atop the horse was causing her rear end to sorely ache.
Just as she was fretting about how to dismount, Nan Sichen extended one long arm, wrapped it around her waist, and lifted her from the horseback.
Qin Yin stayed in place, her legs feeling numb, "I need to sit down, don't stop me."
So saying, she plopped herself onto the grass. Finally giving into fatigue, she decided to lie down, finding the grass soft and fresh.
Nan Sichen, holding the reins of the horse, watched her, her face radiating enjoyment as she laid in the grass.
