The sunset, as fiery as a massive fireball, tinted the horizon red. Qin Yin opened her mouth and finally exclaimed in surprise, "Fire clouds."
Nan Sichen looked at her, his lips curling into a faint smile.
The fireball-like fire clouds eventually rolled behind West Mountain, the twilight sweeping up the last vestige of its afterglow, and the world darkened.
Qin Yin felt a chill, so she hastily put on her hat and wrapped herself in her shawl. She tilted her head and asked Nan Sichen, "Shall we head back?"
"Let's go."
On their way home together, Qin Yin asked, "Where are we going tomorrow?"
"Where do you want to go?"
"I want to see the ocean."
"Alright."
Thus, the next day, they immediately hit the road to Chenfan Bay. (All place names in this book are fictional.)
Standing on the beach, Qin Yin asked, "Nan Sichen, is this where the Titanic sank?"
"You're overthinking it," Nan Sichen replied indifferently.
