Only then did Qin Yin push the door open to be greeted by Mrs. Nan's smiling face.
She chuckled, "Yinyin, it's been a while since we last saw each other."
Qin Yin paused for a moment, blinked twice, and then smiled, saying, "Hello Mrs. Nan!"
"Still calling me Mrs. Nan? Even after you're married, you won't change the way you address me?" Mrs. Nan watched Qin Yin's belly with a smile.
Qin Yin felt uncomfortable under Mrs. Nan's gaze, she grit her teeth and in a soft voice called out, "Mom."
"Ah, ah, good, good, dear." Mrs. Nan was ecstatic, she just looked at the girl and couldn't help but adore her.
She hastily pulled a red envelope from her bag, "Here, take this, I'll give you a larger one at your wedding. This one is a little small."
Qin Yin dared not accept it at first, she just looked at Nan Sichen. He was lazily sitting at his desk and said, "Take it if Mom gives it to you."
Only then did Qin Yin accept it, she smiled and said, "Thanks, Mom."
