Nan Sichen began to rummage through a stack of files on the table, and Qin Yin, standing in front of his desk with nothing to do, suddenly remembered she had a pile of work unattended and her desk was in disarray.
She turned around, all set to run off.
"Where are you going?" Nan Sichen called out to ask her.
"Overtime," Qin Yin replied, blinking her eyes.
"Hmm." Nan Sichen nodded, and as Qin Yin was about to walk off, she heard him say, "Bring your work here, you can do your overtime in this room."
"Huh?" Qin Yin was stunned.
"To save energy at night," Nan Sichen unashamedly cited energy conservation as his excuse. From what he meant, instead of two people in two separate offices with the lights on, it would be more energy efficient to have both people in one office using only one light.
Qin Yin didn't buy it. She didn't think a big company like RM Group would be so eager to save on electricity bills.
