Mu Jinxi looked surprised at Jun Nian, "Are you, are you close with Yinyin?"
She was surprised by how affectionately he addressed her.
Jun Nian coughed awkwardly and said, "College classmates."
"Oh, so you two know each other. But Yinyin just now said it was your first meeting." Mu Jinxi frowned, somewhat confused, and looked at Jun Nian with curiosity.
"Maybe, maybe she doesn't remember me." Jun Nian made up a few sentences on the spot.
As if afraid Mu Jinxi wouldn't believe him, he added, "Yinyin was excellent in college, the school's star student, so basically everyone knew her."
"But you're a gifted student too," Mu Jinxi thought to herself, but didn't say it aloud. She did not want to dig into it. After all, Joseph was the man she loved, and Yinyin was her best friend, neither of whom would harm her.
"Lily, when we're in China, just call me Jun Nian," Jun Nian suddenly said.
Mu Jinxi blinked and smiled, "Alright, then you should call me Jinxi."
"OK."
