Jiang Mei returned to her office only to find Jian Yanyan hurrying out from her team's workstation. Looking at Jian Yanyan, she said, "Yanyan, have you seen my outcome? Be careful with Qin Yin in the future."
After that, she began packing up her things.
But she had barely put a file folder into the cardboard box she'd prepared when a security guard stopped her. "Ms Jiang, I need to check this," he said.
Jiang Mei didn't respond as the security guard picked up the folder and glanced inside. It held some design drafts that appeared to be fashion designs.
These were sketches Jiang Mei had made during her downtime, hoping they would be useful if she ever had a chance to join the Design Department.
But the security guard didn't know that. Seeing they were design drafts, he immediately ordered her to leave them behind. She was not allowed to take them away.
"Why can't I take these? I drew them!" Jiang Mei demanded furiously.
"Who can prove that?" The guard asked matter-of-factly.
