"Come in," Nan Sichen said with a serious tone.
Secretary Xin came in with a tray of milk tea and coffee. He first placed the coffee on Nan Sichen's table, then personally handed the milk tea to Qin Yin with a professional smile, "Miss Qin, please."
"Thank you!" Qin Yin accepted the milk tea and smiled at Secretary Xin.
Secretary Xin smiled, "You're welcome."
Once he had finished speaking, he excused himself from the room.
Qin Yin reluctantly sat down with her milk tea.
Nan Sichen took a sip of his coffee before calmly saying, "Speak."
Qin Yin looked at him, set down her milk tea, and after some thought, asked, "Nan Sichen, why haven't you allowed me to come to work for the past month?"
"It's because you were injured," he replied.
Qin Yin really wanted to retort 'bullshit'.
But she didn't have the courage. She took a deep breath and said, "Was it because my design was sold to Jun Lan?"
She expected him to be surprised that she knew about this, but she was wrong.
