Qin Yin was holding her phone, staring blankly at the name displayed on the incoming call screen. She stared for quite a while before answering, "Hello."
"Where are you?" Nan Sichen cut straight to the chase.
"In the office."
"Come down immediately."
"Why?"
"Going home."
With that, Nan Sichen hung up the phone. Qin Yin sat dumbfounded, staring at her disconnected call. She had thought Nan Sichen had changed, but he was still the same - domineering and unreasonable.
He hadn't even asked if she had finished her work.
Despite her reluctance, she packed up her things and went downstairs.
After about five or six minutes of walking, she arrived at the entrance of McDonald's, but she couldn't find Nan Sichen's flashy Rolls-Royce Silver Charm.
As she was looking around, she heard the sound of a car horn. Turning her head, she saw a blood-red Audi A3 parked not far behind her.
She glanced at it for a moment in silence, and then turned back to resume her search.
