The stark, glaring blood glowed eerily under the light. It gushed from her wrist and flooded the floor at such a speed that Jian Yanyan even thought for a moment that the entire building would be submerged by Ruoju's blood.
She screamed, rushing over to press her own hand against Liu Ruoju's wound, but she couldn't stop the blood from surging out.
Liu Ruoju stood still, dazed, then slowly, very slowly, she slid down onto the floor, staring blankly at the blood flowing from her wrist.
Tears flowed down like a breached dam, but she didn't make a sound.
Jian Yanyan shouted Liu Ruoju's name, "Ruoju, Ruoju, what's wrong with you? Let's go to the hospital, okay?"
Liu Ruoju ignored Jian Yanyan and just silently shed tears, watching her own blood flow outward, a faint smile appearing at the corner of her mouth.
