Qin Yin saw Qin Han go out without locking the door behind her. She laboriously climbed out of bed, but as soon as she took a step, she fell to the ground. She tried to rise, but her body felt weak and increasingly feverish.
Her consciousness was also somewhat muddled. Qin Yin, drenched in sweat, managed to rise, grabbing the water jug on the table and poured cold water all over herself.
Feeling a bit more alert, she hurried to escape, her steps unsteady and wavering, but she had to leave before the man that Qin Han had arranged came.
Just as she reached the door and bumped her head against it, she rubbed her sore forehead and slightly pulled open the door.
However, the door was forcefully pushed open from the outside, causing her to fall again.
Looking up, she saw a man with a greasy and powdered face standing before her.
The man wasn't particularly unpleasant-looking, but as he saw Qin Yin and smiled showing a mouthful of yellow teeth, he seemed repulsive.
