Qin Yin ignored her, and let go of her hair, moving to strike Qin Han. Qin Han was now prepared, and preemptively grabbed Qin Yin's hair. Qin Yin's scalp felt like it was about to tear off, but she didn't let go at all. She tightly pulled on Qin Han's ear, and with one swift movement downwards, grabbed the earring she was wearing. With a sudden force, she pulled the earring right off her ear.
Qin Han let out a piercing cry, quickly releasing Qin Yin's hair and clasping both hands over her ears. Fresh, bright red blood started to trickle down from her earlobes, seeping into her clothing along her neck.
"Ah—pain, it hurts…" Qin Han rolled around in agony on the floor. Qin Yin was about to kick her again, but was held back by Nan Sichen, who had rushed over.
Nan Sichen was initially seated quietly some distance away from the ward. At first, everything seemed calm, but upon hearing the sudden scream, his heart skipped a beat, fearing that Qin Yin was hurt, and he hurriedly rushed in.
