Qin Yin gasped for air, standing beneath the hospital building. She took out her phone and dialed Nan Sichen's number again.
Nan Sichen answered the call, his voice slightly nasal as he asked, "Where are you? Should I send someone to pick you up?"
Qin Yin stood downstairs and pointed at the solitary lit room upstairs. "I'm downstairs at the Inpatient Department, but the nurses won't let me in. And by the way, I've heard you're being admitted. Why do you want me to pick you up?"
"Downstairs?" Nan Sichen sat up from the hospital bed and walked out straight away.
As soon as he opened the ward door, he saw a few people standing outside who were dozing off, including Jiang Ju.
Hearing the sound of the ward door, Jiang Ju was rudely awakened and respectfully asked, "Master Nan is really not staying at the hospital anymore? Has someone come to pick you up yet? It isn't very considerate to have you come downstairs yourself."
