"I am here now. Whatever it is you need, just say it." Nan Sichen's voice suddenly came from behind.
Qin Yin exhaled a breath she hadn't known she was holding. She looked at Nan Sichen, and he was looking back at her. As their eyes met, Qin Yin felt like she was drowning in his deep and enchanting eyes.
She quickly lowered her gaze, but her heart felt considerably settled. It seemed like as long as Nan Sichen was there, any problem could be solved. She didn't know when she began to trust him and depend on him so much.
Nan Sichen took one step at a time towards Qin Yin, freeing her from Shun Yao's tug. He stood quietly in the dark night, a tall and lonesome figure standing against the wind, his icy eyes sparkling with a frosty glint.
This caused Shun Yao to almost forget to cry, not daring to approach or tug on Qin Yin anymore.
"Are you okay?" Nan Sichen asked Qin Yin softly.
Qin Yin shook her head and flashed him a smile that was blindingly brilliant.
