Jian Yanyan looked at her with a hint of pain in her eyes, bringing the porridge over to her and saying, "You must be starving. Have some porridge. While you're at it, you can judge my cooking skills. Let me know if it tastes good."
Qin Yin grinned, picked up the porridge, and spooned a mouthful into her mouth. It did taste good. Apparently, Jian Yanyan's cooking skills flourished as long as Shen Mingfeng wasn't present. When he was, they went awry.
"It tastes good," Qin Yin affirmed, raising her bowl with a smile.
"Good. Drink more of it, and finish it all. Next time I can confidently serve it to Manager Shen," Jian Yanyan chortled, getting ready to exit the room. After two steps, she turned back around, "Do remember to wash the pot and bowl after you finish."
