From where she sat, she could see the fountain statue at Century Square. On a scorcher of a summer day that made her sweat buckets, the fountain mildly cooled the air.
As thoughts of Jun Nian filled her mind, a discomfort set in her chest. She didn't take another bite of her ice cream, leaving it to melt completely.
She got up to throw away the ice cream cup. Standing by the trash bin, she looked up at the fountain statue, it seemed... familiar. Who was it?
