Talking and talking, Ni Yang's eyes began to light up as if they were filled to the brim with stars.
"Do you know a lot about food?" Grandpa Du slightly lifted his eyes, meeting a pair of clear, bottomless eyes, then subtly lowered them again.
Ni Yang took another big bite of fish, "It's okay, just a bit pickier than the average person."
Grandpa Du nodded.
Ni Yang continued, "What about you? I always see you with Buddha Beads, have you seen through the mundane world?"
Grandpa Du smiled faintly, "I'm just a common man. Seeing through the mundane world isn't so easy."
Ni Yang nodded, "That makes sense. In this vast mundane world, there are wines, meats, and beauties. It's indeed not easy to see through all that."
"You seem to understand life quite well," Grandpa Du said in a light tone.
Having finished the last bite of the fish, Ni Yang clapped his hands, stood up from the ground, and said, "Let's head back."
"Okay," responded Grandpa Du, standing up as well.
