Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 Who Dares to Bully His Woman2_1

Although her stomach was obedient, not causing her trouble, the irregular meals were making her complexion look unhealthy.

In order to be ready for the camera, Xia Liyou said, "I haven't eaten yet, put it on the table. I'll call him down."

Xia Liyou never called him by his name. Despite living together for two years, he was still a stranger to her.

And this strangeness deeply irked him.

Xia Liyou took a deep breath and knocked softly on the door.

From inside came a deep, steadied voice, "Come in."

The way he spoke was filled with dominance, leaving no room for refusal.

Whether it was in this so-called home or outside, his words were never disputed. He was like a king who dominated all. Those who obeyed him thrived, those who went against him perished.

Xia Liyou's heart was in her throat as she solemnly pushed open the door.

He sat silently at his desk, attentively staring at his computer. His slender fingers tapped on the keyboard, each tap seemingly resounding in her heart.

Because he was backlit, she couldn't see his eyes clearly. But the strong air of intensity he emitted forbade anyone to approach.

Even after all this time together, Xia Liyou was still mesmerized by the man before her.

Indeed, he was very handsome, not resembling those effeminate men, but rather, he possessed the kind of beauty that left one unable to avert their eyes.

He was godlike, with an irresistible air of icy command, an unquestionable authority in his gaze.

Right now, his attractive eyebrows were furrowed as he focused on the computer screen.

Xia Liyou stood rooted, unable to move forward or step back.

She was afraid that her words would disturb him, causing his already furrowed brows to knit even more tightly.

But thinking about how he had asked the butler to prepare supper, he must be hungry too. It wasn't good to work on an empty stomach.

Just as Xia Liyou was preparing to speak, he stopped tapping, shifting his gaze from the computer to her.

His brow seemed to have relaxed for a moment when she came into his sight, then furrowed tighter than ever before.

He stood up, moved away his chair, and swiftly walked over to her. He reached out to lift her chin, stared at her face for two seconds, and erupted with anger, "Who did this to you?"

Xia Liyou avoided his gaze after a few seconds, trying to pull her chin away, but he gripped her tighter.

His grip caused more pain than the imprint on her face.

His gaze deepened and his tone turned harsher when she stayed silent. "Speak, who did this?"

Feeling the rising danger, his aura was increasingly oppressive, making Xia Liyou more and more tense.

Her chin was held high by him, forced to look at his face in a very uncomfortable posture.

She didn't want to look at him, but was forced to.

"No one, it was an accident."

"Huh, an accident could cause this?" He snorted coldly, pressing harder on her chin.

Xia Liyou cried out in pain, but bit her lower lip and remained silent.

She understood that speaking now would only agitate him further, so why put herself in greater danger?

His gaze was sharp and resolute, as if he wanted to tear Xia Liyou apart.

Unable to bear his stare, Xia Liyou shut her eyes, trying to soothe her racing heart.

How could he understand her feelings?

Not that he didn't want to understand, but she had never opened her heart to him.

Because, all she ever wanted was to escape from him, even one day earlier would do.

She had ignored him so completely that he lost his temper.

He bent down, kissed her in a punishing manner. His rough, frantic kiss made Xia Liyou want to turn her face away, but the hand gripping her chin didn't let her.

At the same time, his other hand held her thin waist tightly, forcing her closer to him.

He was like a storm, swept everything wildly, leaving no room for her.

The more she wanted to escape, the more it stirred his inner desire.

That deep kiss almost made Xia Liyou suffocate.

His breathing became heavier, and his eyes gradually filled with passion and desire.

Taking advantage of the opportunity when his lips left hers, Xia Liyou pleaded, "Don't, don't do this."
