"I once thought the truth might have been unfolded, but found that everything seemed to have just begun. Everything is still shrouded in mist." - Mu Lin
The Gong Family.
Master.
Looking at the night sky outside the window, glittering with stars, Mu Lin sighed slowly, her complex eyes filled with unspoken thoughts.
"Still thinking about your master?" Jing Chen came up from behind, encircling her waist, his chin gently rested against her.
"Hmm." Her cool voice held a hint of confusion, and Mu Lin instinctively leaned back into him. "I always feel like if I keep investigating, I might find something I'm not willing to face." Whether the future would be sunny or abyssal, no one knew.
"But regardless, you will continue to investigate, am I right?" No matter what answers she found, Jing Chen believed that Mu Lin would never give up because she was emotionally attached to those she cared about, more than anyone else.
Especially her master, who she had always depended on and trusted.
