The one called number three felt quite disgusted by the thought and felt a bit downcast.
"Enough." Just then, one of the men who had been quiet all along suddenly spoke tersely, looking at the two of them, "Stop arguing about this. The decision was made on the spot."
"I just received news that starting this afternoon, several military vessels have made rounds in the nearby sea domain. Are you guys thinking to invite them over for inspection?" He snorted coldly, "Soldiers and police are not the same." He had assumed they wouldn't return so quickly after their patrol, but there were even more in the afternoon than in the morning, which was quite maddening.
He may have confidence dealing with the police; but facing those soldiers, who were completely inflexible and impervious to persuasion, even he was not sure. Or rather, he had no tricks up his sleeve.
