"Want to swap a partner?" Ling Qi looked at Liang Cao, a hint of unexplained mischief in his eyes which sent an uncomfortable chill down Liang Cao's spine. His response, however, was unwavering as he said, "Yes, sir." No matter what, he didn't want to spar with a fragile woman. If he hurt her or made her cry, he didn't know how to comfort her.
It seemed that in Liang Cao's mind, Mu Lin... was insignificant. Or perhaps he thought women, in general, were insignificant.
"Switching partners could be an option." This time, Ling Qi did not reprimand him, and instead seemed quite agreeable. But he did not give an immediate yes, he continued, "If you can beat Mu Lin, I'd let you switch."
Upon hearing this, Mu Lin's eyebrows jumped in surprise.
