Jing Chen led Mu Lin in a steady walk towards a certain direction. The path seemed increasingly deserted as they advanced, and gradually, a lush green landscape unfolded before their eyes.
"Here?" Does this not seem like a dormitory?
Mu Lin glanced warily at the surroundings. It didn't appear to be a place where people have resided for a long time. "It's desolate and eerily similar to my own place; Young Master Jing, you wouldn't be harboring any sinister plans, would you?" Mu Lin joked, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she looked at Jing Chen.
After all, this place was awfully secluded.
"What if I said yes?" Jing Chen played along with her jest, displaying an uncommon amount of patience.
This place was his occasional retreat for rest and reflection. Aside from him, Mu Lin was the first guest here.
Jing Chen didn't exactly know why he had brought Mu Lin here. He just had a feeling...compared to the dormitory, she would probably much prefer it here.
