The girls fully believed that Alex was indeed an NPC. There was nothing indicating that he was not. For them, there was no way the game would lie to them about such pivotal information.
"I am Hanna, this one is Ladybug, and that one is LydiaTheWise."
Alex found the nicknames funny, and for the first time, he was in the NPC's shoes, having to listen to some strange nicknames and yet act as if it was nothing.
"It is a pleasure to meet all of you. Thank you for the water. I really thought I was going to die back there; damn, these woods are treacherous."
Lydia, the mage, could not help but ask, "Why did you say you were a fallen noble? What happened?"
It was easy to see that the girls were trying to get some sort of quest from Alex, who sadly, could not give it to them. At least, he did not think so.
