The fifth floor already had plenty of plants and strange gas in the air, but the staircase to the sixth was much worse. It was starting to look like a jungle.
"We might face some plant-like creatures on the sixth floor," Alex said.
"Yes, probably," Joseph added.
It wasn't that hard to figure out, judging by the eerie transformation of the entire surroundings. As they ascended the staircase, the oppressive atmosphere only intensified. Thick foliage encroached upon the walls, vines snaking their way through cracks and crevices, while the air hung heavy with the scent of earth and decay.
