Alex's plan was unfolding as it should. He wasn't entirely sure that everything would go smoothly in the end, but at least the initial part of his plan was a success. He and Jhin returned to their dormitories, feeling the moonlight touching their bodies and the refreshing night breeze.
"Do you think we'll stay here for much longer? I really hope to leave soon," Jhin said, his face showing concern. "With these beasts everywhere, our journey will get more difficult."
Alex felt the same way and was already getting anxious about staying in the same place for so long. "I think so. Relax. Everything will be fine."
Jhin looked into Alex's eyes, feeling confidence in those words, and it reassured him. "Alright then. Goodnight, Shadowborn."
"Goodnight, Jhin."
