In the distance, strolling along one of the streets of the ancient city, Alex caught sight of Rorik and Elara.
Rorik, a seasoned warrior and a member of Vance's team, was accompanied by Elara, a skilled priest who also belonged to their group.
Originally, Alex and his companions were supposed to explore the city alongside Vance, Rorik, and Elara. However, upon reaching the dungeon's entrance, they were met with Vance's lifeless body. With no other bodies in sight, their initial assumption was that Rorik and Elara had met a similar fate.
However, to their surprise, Rorik and Elara appeared seemingly out of nowhere, their faces and armor covered in grime, and fear etched across their features.
"You're here!" Rorik exclaimed upon spotting Alex, a palpable sense of relief washing over him.
