There were too many citizens to help in the city of Crystal. Alex, Gareth, and everyone else in the city had plenty of tasks to attend to. The players were also lending a hand — Alex was certain they all received some sort of quest to rebuild the city or assist in its restoration.
But as the Vice Captain, Alex felt a responsibility to do more for the citizens to demonstrate his appreciation for their efforts.
"Thank you, Vice Captain...?" a citizen started, unsure of how to address him.
"Shadowborn," Alex replied firmly.
Soon, Shadowborn's name spread throughout the city, and everyone knew who the new Vice Captain was.
"So young yet in such a high position. This young man must be truly powerful," the citizens whispered among themselves.
While the citizens were just beginning to learn more about Alex, the players were the opposite. Everyone knew Shadowborn, and they couldn't comprehend how Alex was earning so many different titles.
