Chapter 77 - A Heartwarming Talk?

Lily suddenly appeared inside Beatrice's living room, and found Azuri alone seating on the couch, her head to her hands, body silently trembling. It was quiet in here, the TV was on but it was muted.

Lily sighed now that she was linked with Azuri, she could feel everything, there wasn't a single emotion Azuri felt that wasn't electrifying her thoughts, and occupying her heart.

She sat down on the coffee table, and didn't say anything, waiting for Azuri to react first. She understood the feeling of wanting to be alone, and silently grieve, or lament, or self-loathe, she understood the wanting to pay attention to whatever it is that was eating her, alone.

But a long time ago she used to wish that someone, anyone would've there by her side and tell her everything was going to be fine, even if it wasn't. But Azuri was way in too deep for Lily to let her bask in those kinds of hopeful fantasies.
