Chapter 60 - Wind (3)

Wind had woken up from what seemed to be a terrifying dream, but when he looked around him, it seemed he was still dreaming because he was in a chilling place obscured by grey fog.

This place truly consumed everything of what or who he was, leaving nothing, but a man trying so hard to suppress unwarranted memories trying to grip his attention from this place.

Usually he preferred focusing on those painful experiences than the life he now has, because it seemed to serve a purpose that despite being alive, he was already dead inside.

He feared if he ever accepted they are actually gone, he would have nothing to cling on to, and his hate would soon wane, and he would be left with nothing, but nightmares and suicidal thoughts.

The reason being why he didn't try to make himself relive those painful experiences in this moment is because he was sure without a shadow of a doubt that whatever brought him here fed off his pain.
