Lily woke up feeling both refreshed and shitty, at the same time. She felt warm embrace, of a warm blooded body. She pried her eyes open, to a welcome sight of Azuri, in hee peaceful slumber, spooning her, with a content smile on her lips.
She was confused, but also elated, she pried Azuri's single arm from her body, and gently moved away not the disturb her sleep. She looked around, and felt familiarity with this place, but just shook her head, thinking she be overthinking things.
Her gaze returned to Azuri, and this time, not distracted by her beautiful face, she saw something that made her heart go still, as she held her breath, as it suddenly made sense why this place felt familiar, it was because it was the same place she first awoke to, in this realm.
"Don't tell me, she ran into trouble, when I fell, unconscious?" Lily questioned, but the answer, was obvious, as it stared, at her in the face. Lily saw where the most blood had come from was on her back.
