Inside the store, a friendly staff member, approached them with a kind smile. But unlike the smile the barista wore when Luna was at the café, this person's smile wasn't genuine, it was actually strained.
Luna didn't hate life, and although she could deal with a depressed Lily, that doesn't mean. She was going to tolerate someone who clearly didn't want to be here. So.. before the poor lady could say anything Luna stopped her there.
"We don't need your help." She said bluntly.
The staff's smile became even more strained, and she looked right about ready to burst. Lily using her amazing skill she had learned years back, 'if you want to avoid trouble, ignore it.'
She took Luna's hand, and dragged her past the lady with an apologetic smile plastered on her face. When they passed the poor woman, Lily asked Luna why she was being rude. But Luna embarrassingly avoided saying anything.
