Cold Icy blue beams shot out from Lola's dual pistols. The Sphinx reacted fast, and shielded itself, with it's wings. Upon contact, an icy aura spread throughout the wings, freezing them.
Luna's eyes gleamed as information of a few seconds from now filled her mind, and she reacted at the same time, moving forward and erecting her Chrono shield that spread around her team.
At the same time, the Sphinx unfurled it's wings, Ice debris flying everywhere, as it's gleaming eyes burned with heat that could be felt from a distance.
It's eyes shot out energy beams, that went straight towards Luna. That's when a mystical flow of temporal energy, coming from Luna's shield disrupted the flow of time, and in turn slowing down the energy beams speed, dramatically.
Lily instantly took the opening that Luna presented her, as Luna's shield had momentarily confused the Sphinx.
