Chereads / Danmachi: I'm Leveling Up In The Dungeon / Chapter 141 - Chapter 141 – Ais’s random thoughts

Chapter 141 - Chapter 141 – Ais’s random thoughts

While the deeper floors of the dungeon are indeed the domain of Level 6 adventurers, to truly gain significant experience and improve their Status, adventurers must venture beyond the 50th floor; the 40th to 49th floors still serve as training grounds for Level 5 adventurers.

Level 6 adventurers find the challenges in these ten floors relatively minor. During this time, Aston and his team, except when the Level 4 members were overwhelmed and needed assistance, mostly observed the battlefield and watched the Level 4 members engage in combat.

It took only a day for Aston and his team to reach the safe zone of the 50th floor. However, upon reaching this milestone, they didn't rush to the floors beyond. Instead, they set up camp in the safe zone and returned to the 49th floor the next day to fight their way up to the 45th floor before heading back. After all, the growth of the expedition's members, not just those at Level 6, couldn't be neglected.

This routine continued for three days. Aston wasn't sure about the progress of Loki Familia's members, but on his side, after three days of combat, Eina's strength had reached the pinnacle of Level 5, which Aston could discern during their sparring sessions. The other nine elves also stepped into the realm of Level 5.

Upon returning from this expedition, it was certain that Eina and the others would level up again, having amassed enough experience and achievements points.

"Lightning Dragon's Roar!"

"Fire Dragon's Flame!"

(t/n: I'm not sure if these are abilities from Fairy Tail)

A clash of lightning and fire resulted in a massive explosion and a cloud of dust. The next moment, two figures charged into the smoke, and the sound of intense fighting echoed through. In less than two seconds, the dust was cleared by the fierce battle's shockwaves, revealing Eina and Tione in the midst of a heated duel.

Aston had integrated the Fire Dragon Slayer Magic Lacrima with Tione on the very day he acquired the White and Fire Dragon Slayer Magic Lacrimas.

"It's really nice, I wish I had such magic too," Tiona, sitting beside Aston, propped her chin with her hands, gazing at the two fighting, full of admiration.

"Dragon Slayer Magic involves fighting with fists, it's not quite suitable for you. I'll get you something good when I find it," Aston replied, comforting Tiona while gently rubbing her head upon hearing her words.

"Okay, I understand," Tiona nodded in agreement.

"What about mine?" Just as Tiona finished speaking, Riveria suddenly asked.

"The same for you, but I haven't found anything useful for you yet," Aston said with a smile, soothingly answering her.

"Make sure you keep your word," Riveria nodded slightly and then turned her attention back to the battle between Eina and Tione.

"Honestly, I never expected you to make such a choice, Riveria," Tiona said, turning to Riveria with a grin.

She only discovered today that Aston and Riveria's relationship was similar to hers and Tione's, which was quite a shock to her. She never imagined Riveria would choose a partner, especially Aston.

"What, are you against it?" Riveria looked back, unfazed.

"No, no, how could I be? After noticing the special aura around Aston, I had a hunch, but it's just all happening so fast, I'm still trying to catch up," Tiona quickly waved her hands, laughing.

She had noticed Riveria's attitude towards Aston when the three of them adventured together with Aston and Ryuu before. That was when she sensed it; Aston was like a deity to elves. She had wondered how Riveria would react upon meeting Aston again, and this outcome was one of her predictions, albeit she thought it would take much longer for Riveria to fall for Aston, considering Riveria's status as a member of the elven royal family and unlikely to make decisions lightly.

The reality was truly beyond her expectations.

"Aston is the best choice for me. If I missed out on him, I might have ended up alone for the rest of my life," Riveria said.

"I'm truly sorry," Riveria nodded slightly, her gaze returning to the battle, and after a moment of contemplation, she spoke.

Tiona laughed heartily, not adding further. She had foreseen this outcome and harbored no resistance in her heart...

Tione felt the same way. Since Aston was the first they encountered, and Tione's situation seemed more like a newcomer, in some aspects, Tione and Riveria shared the same perspective, so how could there be any objection?

Next to Riveria was Ryuu, who, hearing their conversation, had a mysterious gleam in his eyes, occasionally glancing towards Aston, with his gaze focusing intently on Aston's eyes.

"It should be soon," Ryuu thought to himself, sneakily glancing at Aston's eyes, calculating internally based on the timing of the previous change.

On the other side, next to Tione, Ais's eyes also shimmered subtly. Ais wasn't oblivious and could discern the underlying messages from the dialogue between Aston, Tiona, and Riveria.

Tione's sudden acquisition of magic was due to Aston. This special magic was powerful, significantly boosting Tione's strength.

Ais believed that in a full-force battle with Tione, she might not even be a match for Tione now. A duel with Tione would likely end in a draw. Previously, she was consistently stronger than both Hiryute sisters.

But now, in such a short time, she had been caught up by Tione, and even surpassed by her. All because of Aston.

Ais also wished to gain strength from Aston, but she knew their relationship as friends wasn't enough for Aston to share his methods of strength enhancement with her.

Ais was clueless about matters of affection. However, being with Aston felt good, and Tiona and Tione seemed happy with him. Riveria also smiled more often when she was with Aston.

She wasn't opposed to being with Aston. Thus, Ais didn't mind developing a relationship with Aston like Tiona, Tione, and Riveria had.

But would Aston like her back? Ais wasn't sure.

While Ais was lost in her thoughts, a sudden roar echoed from afar.
