"An aura that can restore elves to their best condition?"
"There wasn't such a situation when we met last time."
"It seems I really should pay a visit to Aston." Standing by the window in the corridor, Riveria looked out at the frost-covered world and thought to herself.
She then withdrew her gaze, planning to leave and return to her bedroom to rest.
However, as soon as she turned around, she saw Tione approaching her. It was obvious to anyone that Tione was feeling down. Seeing Tione's state, Riveria frowned slightly and asked with concern, "Hmm? Tione, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing, Riveria," Tione replied, forcing a smile after hearing Riveria's voice, and continued walking past without any intention of engaging in conversation.
Seeing Tione like this, Riveria's brows furrowed even more.
"Tione was just with Finn, wasn't she?"
"This has never happened before. It looks like she has truly given up this time."
"That's good, in a way. Finn is entirely devoted to the revival of his race, with no room for romantic feelings. He's definitely not a good match for Tione. No matter how hard she tries, she will never get a response. It's not too late for her to give up now." Riveria, with her extensive experience, could easily read Tione's situation. While she didn't know how to comment on Tione's matter, she hoped Tione would stop and not waste any more time, knowing Finn's situation.
Just as Gareth said about Finn, he always harbored ambitions disproportionate to his stature, never concealing them. Finn's life has always been about revitalizing his race, with no room for personal relationships.
Liking Finn would lead to no results.
Riveria had thought about advising Tione long ago, but fearing her strong personality might backfire, she refrained from doing so.
Now that Tione was able to cut her losses in time, Riveria was happy for her.
Watching Tione's figure disappear into the darkness, Riveria shook her head and left.
Her bedroom was in the opposite direction from where Tione had departed.
The next morning, Aston and Hestia woke up early.
Since they didn't have to go to the dungeon today, Aston stayed in the Familia's territory, training his combat skills in the open space above the underground church.
As for Hestia, she took Virgo and several boxes of potions to visit Miach's shop.
Aston had summoned Virgo the previous night and introduced her to Hestia.
Although Hestia was surprised that Aston could summon a living being, she didn't ask further, as if she had seen such things before. She was just surprised that Aston could do it but wasn't overly shocked.
Speaking of Virgo, Aston couldn't help but acknowledge that she truly lives up to being one of the Zodiac Celestial Spirits. Although she doesn't seem to possess much combat power, with Aston acting as an infinite source of magical power, Virgo's strength is absolutely that of a Zodiac spirit. If she were to be rated as a Fairy Tail mage, she would definitely be an S-class mage.
Moreover, Aston and Virgo established a mental link, allowing them to communicate internally at any time, regardless of the distance. When Virgo engages in battle, even though Aston's magical power is limitless, he can still sense Virgo drawing upon his magic without feeling any decrease in his own power.
Early in the morning, Virgo, carrying three large boxes of potions, left under Hestia's instruction to head to Miach's place. All these potions were made by Aston the previous day.
As for why there were so many, it's because Aston realized he had miscalculated the growth time of some herbs in his magical herb garden due to using it for the first time. The maturity time for some herbs planted in the magical garden was longer than estimated, while others were as Aston had predicted, and a few even matured yesterday…
After observing them last night and finding the herbs mature, Aston promptly harvested them and turned them into potions. Hence, Hestia and Virgo had a full box of potions when they left. Otherwise, with the herbs Hestia had bought in the last two days, they wouldn't have been able to produce so many potions, with just about one box being the maximum.
Moreover, before leaving, Hestia informed Aston that she would not be returning at noon today. She planned to visit several of her godly friends, including Miach, Hephaestus, and Loki, whom she mentioned last night. This meant that Aston would be alone in the Familia residence today.
An hour of morning training quickly came to an end, and Aston returned to the underground church, freshened up briefly, and sat down on the sofa.
As soon as he sat down, Aston felt a sense of emptiness. Ever since arriving in Orario, he had been constantly busy and almost never had time to be alone. If he wasn't in the dungeon, he was interacting with Hestia, making potions, enchanting, teaching Naaza, and so on. Even the last time he managed to get a day off, Hestia had dragged him around all day.
Today was the first time Aston felt truly free.
Feeling somewhat idle, Aston decided to brew some tea, intending to enjoy the tea and cultivate his mind. However, just as he took out the tea, he suddenly remembered something.
"Ah, right, I haven't checked today's refresh in the system shop."
Acting on the thought, Aston dived into the system space with his mind to check the system shop. What he saw immediately caught his attention.
Aston spotted an item in the shop that he had been wanting: a Faction Card, an item that the system had mentioned could only be obtained from the shop.
1000 shop points, huh?
"Buying it!" Aston decided on the spot.
