Chapter 37 - I'M NOT HANGRY

November 26th, xxxx (Late afternoon)

A LIVID BARK AND a bang makes Kamil jump on his trek towards the Alpha's office, the echoes of it reverberating through his head like bouncing balls.

He meet the Alpha's driver, Nia on the steps to the door, her short bob framing the sharpness of square face, neck twice larger than his hands.

Her huge frame is a loss the soldiers mourn about, strength wasted on driving or menial jobs around the Pack.

She opens her mouth to greet him but promptly forgets about him when a sniffling Nuka comes flying out the door, closing it softly despite his hurry.

In an instant, she's by him cradling his face and that gentle gesture makes him cry, shaking and nodding his head at her rapidly as she asks him questions.

"He can not speak to you that way just because he's the Alpha," Nuka disagrees but she doesn't care, "He can't treat you however he feels like. That's abuse of power."
