Chapter 36 - (36) Not safe

I dreamed. A man with tremendous power and prowess pressing me beneath him. He conquered me until I couldn't speak or scream anymore. My voice was so hoarse it was barely audible. It was to the point that I could only surrender because it was less painful, but in surrendering, unwanted pleasure crept it. It made me angry and upset with myself, but his technique was too good.

Waking suddenly from the dream, I discovered it wasn't exactly a dream. Unless it was? It felt a bit like I was still dreaming. A dream within a dream where you are not dreaming.

I didn't know where I was, but I was in an unfamiliar bedroom with a handsome stranger. He smiled when I opened my eyes and made me gasp with surprise.

"Who would have thought my idiot brother was keeping such a little pet like you hidden in his house?" he murmured. "You're such a sweet little ride. No wonder he's decided to keep you a hidden secret. It took so much effort and money to pry the secret loose from the people around him. Who would have thought he was into your type?"

I continued to gasp and moan beneath him, unable to gather or form any coherent thoughts. At least I had experience in this now. I knew what to do and how to do it.

"Whoa, little girl. You're quite the wild kitten after waking up, aren't you? You like this, hmm? You can't tell anyone about this. This is going to be our little secret. Ok? My brother would probably kill me if he ever found out we were doing this behind his back. I'll come and find you every now and then, and we can have a good time."

This man couldn't compare to the thundercock in my dream. His rhythm and sense of timing were off. Even so, the long firm strokes were still stimulating enough that I shuddered beneath him, making him laugh.

"That's the way, little girl. Give it to me."

Biting him to try and make him stop when I was tired only made him rougher with me.

"Bite me. Go on," he goaded. "See if I don't teach you a lesson."

Groaning, I could only try to bear with it until he finished inside me. He licked my neck and rested in me for a while longer, not bothering to pull out for a while.

"You're way better than all those whores that keep throwing themselves at me," the man smiled, pinching my skin in sensitive places. "I'm going to pump you full and make you pregnant. I'll make you mine and take care of you if that happens. You try tell on me and I'll drug you and sell you on the underground market as a slave to those people with special interests. You'll never see the light of day again."

I could only huff, glaring at him and closing my eyes. I had to try and gather enough energy to kill or incapacitate this rowdy stranger. From the way he talked, he should just be a normal person. From the way he moved, perhaps he went to the gym or trained in some fancy martial art. He definitely wasn't a proper trained fighter and so should be easily subdued.

The man licked and sucked on me all over. Was he some animal? I really wanted to tell him what I thought of him but I couldn't muster up the strength. Just breathing was hard enough right now.

Before I was ready, I felt him hardening up in me again, making me look at the ceiling with exasperation. That got him laughing again. He used his movements to tease me and try to elicit sounds from me.

I could barely keep my eyes open later. He carried me into the bathroom and left me in the bathtub, while I heard him turn on the fan and clean up the room. I tried to move but found I couldn't.

My body was exhausted. Drained. Too heavy.

A hand stroked my face.

"Kim Na. Uki-chan, wake up," I heard Shigure's voice.

Safety.

Warmth.

I struggled to open my eyes but they kept drifting shut again. My arms made vague movements. I reached for him. What I wanted was a hug. Shigure was here. He could save me.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay awake long enough.

I dreamed of that handsome stranger. Or not. Perhaps the dirty dreams weren't dreams at all. He seemed to come fairly frequently.

"What's wrong with you?" he growled at me, being stronger and rougher than usual, as he tried to wake me up. It didn't work. Only made me more tired. Tired to the point I didn't want to live anymore. "Hey. Hey, hey. Are you sick?"

He patted my cheeks while I remained limp beneath him. Despite his concern, he still finished and cleaned up as usual, before he looked at me more closely.

"Damn," he swore. "Are you actually my brother's prisoner? Has he been drugging you? Bloody… why is that turning me on again? Since that's the case, there's no harm in me using you more."

Carrying me to the bathroom, he took me fiercely on the floor. The best I could do was not tense up. The contrast between the cold floor and his body felt strange.

I heard a distant door shut.

Someone else was here. From the looks of things, the stranger on me was too focussed on what he was doing and hadn't heard the sound. Gathering what strength I had left, I banged on the shower glass by my head as hard as possible.

"What are you doing?" The man snorted, pinching me hard enough that I released a weak cry of pain. "Am I not good enough for you?"

He then moved harder and faster, while I managed to thump the glass once more before running out of energy.

"Oh, come on. Already?" the man grumbled. "You being drugged like this is not nearly as fun as that first time I took you by surprise. Your reaction then was so much fun. You enjoyed it too, didn't you? Every time since then you've been doing less and less. You're on the verge of becoming boring, you know? You barely do anything. If you become boring, what should I do to spite my brother? Should I sell you anyway? Here. Wake up."

He slapped my cheek.

I felt the sharp pain and the after burn, but could only glare at him for a few seconds before my eyes began to close by themselves.

The man snorted again and was just finishing the job when the bathroom door was flung wide open. I recognised the stranger with the umbrella. With two steps, he had kicked the man on me off and covered me with his suit jacket. He dragged the handsome man out of the bathroom into the bedroom.

I heaved a sigh of relief and allowed myself to fall back unconscious while I listened to the curses and angry cries of the two brothers fighting in the bedroom outside. The police, City Agents and Shigure were mentioned.

*****

"I'm so sorry," the stranger with the umbrella rubbed his face by my bedside. Shigure was sitting in front of him with his arms across his chest. "This was my fault. I've let you down. And her. I can't tell you how sorry I am. I investigated and discovered that my brother managed to bribe one of my assistants and one of the apartment's security guards in order to get my spare key. Don't worry. I won't try to get my brother out of prison. He deserves this and he's been needing someone to teach him a lesson for a while. Can you believe he thought I was drugging Kim in order to secretly force myself on her? I owe her. I won't and can't harm her."

Shigure didn't say a word, making the man sweat.

"I'll take responsibility, ok? I'll pay for her medical fees, support her and care for her for you while you're away. I'll give her a large amount of money as compensation for damages too. Just give me her bank account number. I'll make sure she has enough to live on for the rest of her life. And the... I'll have her live with me. That way I'll be able to keep a closer eye on things. My butler whom I trust and who also is a trained black belt in martial arts will organise things. A nurse and a carer can help me take care of her. I'll look after her until you're done doing whatever needs to be done and it's safe for her to go back with you," the man babbled, but still Shigure remained silent. "She can have a team of my bodyguards," the man said after another moment of silence.

Finally Shigure spoke.

"Try not to involve too many people and keep her existence a secret. She's being targeted by an enemy in the dark. I have to find them before she can come back. I'll entrust her to you one more time. I have no other choice right now. I have to go back and sort some things out. If I can leave her with you and not need to worry about her safety, it'll be a weight off my mind."

"Don't worry," the stranger with the umbrella reassured Shigure. "You know the address. Come find us when everything is over. I promise to do everything in my power to keep her safe and healthy."

"Good," Shigure said, taking my hand and squeezing it. I blinked at him in silence and squeezed his hand back. I didn't want to stay and didn't want him to leave. He could probably feel it without me saying anything. "Uki-chan," he said, "I'm going. Rest well. Recover. Stay with Mr Borges and don't go out on your own." I watched the stranger, Mr Borges, leave the room to give us some privacy. Shigure dropped his voice. "I'm going back to help Director Worth and Howard clean up the organisation. We're going to be uprooting spies and so you'll be safest here out of harm's way, where no one can use you as leverage. At the same time, I've found who has been targeting you and your family. I'll find time to clean up your tribe so that they won't be able to bother you and your family again."

He stroked my cheek and his eyes looked sad.

"During this time, while your mind is injured, avoid using your abilities. Live a life as a normal person. Mr Borges is going to use the cover story that you're his girlfriend who got caught in an accident and was kidnapped by his enemies. He's a powerful man and the owner of MJTL, you know, Magental. Although he's slipped up, I have no choice right now. He seems to have romantic interest in you. He keeps gushing over your otherworldly beauty and how perfect you are when you're awake enough to converse with him. Feel free to plan your retirement. If that's what you want. Officially you've been sent away under deep cover so that the spies in the organisation don't suspect anything. Unofficially, Director Worth and I just want you to get better. Be good and take care of yourself, ok?"

I pulled Shigure in for a hug.

"You take care of yourself," I whispered. "I'm sorry I can't be more help. I'll try not to make any trouble for you."

"You've done plenty," Shigure reassured me. "You've enabled us to contact the most powerful creatures in our region and make agreements with them. Without you, we wouldn't have discovered that the enemy are already gathering on our shores. You were the one who enabled us to catch the rogue, Tiger Eye, while he was being Chad. Write up your reports and keep them safe for me and Director Worth. I'll send someone to pick them up if you finish them early. No rush. The most important thing is for you to get better. I've investigated Mr Borges. I'm so sorry about what happened. He is too. He couldn't stop crying when he contacted me with the news. You should be safe with him now that we've eliminated his brother. When you're feeling better, you can start training again if you want. You could probably train with his bodyguards. I have a friend amongst them, so you should be fine. Try to stay within the grounds of his property, because he has quite a few enemies of his own. Try to avoid going out if possible. I've brought your suitcase over, so you should have everything you need."

I nodded and closed my eyes, feeling tired from all the talking already. Shigure stroked my head and left quietly, looking both guilty and regretful.
