Chapter 76 - Making a Joke of Bigwigs

I walked in slow circles around my sister as she worked on cultivating. She sat in the middle of the training room, about to break through to Soul Formation.

These past few months had consisted of her cultivating to the next realm, sparing to make her foundation solid, leaving my world and spending a few normal days on Earth so Mom wouldn't notice her appearance changing abruptly, and coming back to my world to spend some quality time together.

Even with an illusion, she still looked a bit different as she was only toning down her looks, not really altering them too much.

Lila had explained the relationships between all of us when Zari asked, and after thinking for a while, she decided she didn't care what I did as long as she was included so I should do what Lila wants.

I have managed to avoid my sister sending Mom to an early grave. Although Mom has definitely noticed her acting strangely, she just thinks she is having fun with us and always wants to be having fun. Zari had sort of moved over, and while Mom was a little sad about it, she was also happy Zari was having fun again.

Of course, it hadn't been a few months for us, but quite a bit longer. She'd gotten closer to both Lila and Luna, but for the most part, this time had been just for my sister and me.

Zari had condensed her circles into her core twice and was now at the peak of the world. I'd also finished replacing 20% of my cultivation and magic with energy.

Snap!

An audible snap sounded, and I stopped walking around. Her new divine sense spread out, and she opened her eyes, looking around wildly. I didn't tell her about the divine sense part; I wanted to see how a person who had no idea what it was did.

After figuring it out, she looked at me accusingly, "You knew I was there at the cemetery!"

I grinned in response as I helped her to her feet, "Now sparing again."

I took a few steps back and raised my fists in a fighting stance.

---

We stepped out of the door to my world. Zari was now in the first layer of the Quasi-Immortal realm. It was good enough, I wouldn't have to worry about her for a while. She could work on it more when we went to the next world level.

It was morning and time for breakfast. Elaria had cooked waffles with some sugar sprinkled on the outside and canned cherries in syrup on top. There was a container of real whipped cream on the table, and in my place, a steaming cup of coffee. Real whipped cream is at least 100 times better than that fake canned stuff.

Luna and Lila also appeared. Lila's hair was in a mess, and she wasn't wearing any clothes, while Luna was dressed beautifully with her long flowing silver hair falling straight down her back. They are exactly the opposite.

We all greeted each other and sat down. The waffles were wonderful, with the grains of sugar on the outside adding both sweetness and a small crunch.

Soon the plates were empty, and we left for class today. Zari had originally wanted to quit, but I know Mom would not be okay with that. Then Zari would definitely do something to her, so I made up that I wanted to keep going. After that, she decided to keep going because otherwise, we would be apart.

I would like to avoid my sister giving my mom a dirt nap.

---

We sat down for lunch and began eating when another girl I recognized as Dina sat down at our table next to my sister.

"Zari, I heard you know this guy pretty well; why don't you introduce me? All us friends can hang out sometime."

This girl, I didn't like her when she was bothering my sister about going to the bridge, and I really didn't like her when she let my sister walk home after insisting she come with her. Now she's in my sight again. Wanna die much?

Zari apparently thought the same, "We aren't friends. Go away."

Dina looked mad, "How can you talk to me like that? I've done so much for you and always tried to take you to have fun!"

Oh yeah, badgering her into coming along, then abandoning her and not driving her home is certainly doing a lot.

Bang!

Zari's fork went through the thin metal of Dina's tray and into the plastic table below.

Zari leaned into the startled Dina's ear and whispered, "It's too much trouble for it to go into your head right now, but you're really making me consider it. Go away."

Dina was suddenly terrified and tried to get up with her tray, but only managed to make a fool of herself when her tray was very suddenly dislodged from the table. Food flew in her face, and she tipped off the bench around the table, landing hard on her back. She got up as quickly as she could and ran out of the lunchroom under the laughter of everyone else.

I'm pretty sure that sauce is going to be a nightmare to get out of that thin white shirt without magic.

Zari leaned into my ear and whispered, "I really don't like her trying to get close to you. Can I kill her later?"

"Sure, but I'll come along."

Zari nodded and began eating her pudding. Today was tomato soup, chocolate pudding, baby carrots, and a meatless burger. I refuse to eat any meatless meat. If you want me to eat more vegetables or something, give me a salad. It will probably be better for me than some over-processed brown stuff. Not that I need any food anyway though, so I'll only eat it if it's worth chewing.

---

The next time we passed Dina, who was now wearing new clothes, Zari cast a tracker on her, so now that classes are over for the day, we were following it as it drove across the city. We were flying while invisible so no one would see us.

"So, how are you going to kill her?"

Zari had apparently already decided as her answer was immediate, "I'll use your world and flay her inside."

I nodded my approval.

We soon came to the street where she lived, and she turned in. It wasn't a particularly nice part of town, with its narrow streets and small homes, but what they did have, however, were more cameras than a Bullseye store. Across the street was something interesting, but I'll have Elaria check it out later.

Dina parked along the street and walked through her spotty lawn and in the front door. There were even cameras in the house, so I thought of a fun joke.

I remembered some of a president of a random country with his creepy behavior and thought it would be funny as shit if the cameras showed him and his security team kidnapping her and tossing her into a limo.

I should also put that high heeled dancing man who is now the leader of a country at war poking his head out to check the progress of the kidnapping while making inappropriate gestures.

Although it is obviously fake, there is no way the news wouldn't run the video all over the place. I'm sort of curious to see if anyone will actually believe it or connect it with that block of acrylic. I can't wait to make this joke a reality, it should be very entertaining.

My lips curved up in a grin, and I explained the idea to Lila and my sister. Lila didn't really understand why I picked who I did, and really they were just the first weird people who came to mind, but she still thought it sounded funny. Zari made some small modifications to the idea but thought it was funny also.

We found a place with no cameras, and I made a glamour of a limo; then we glamoured ourselves and 'drove' it to Dina's house where we stopped it. The door at the back opened, Zari and I stepped out, glamoured to be tall men in black suits complete with big shades and everything.

Lila was controlling the glamours of the world leaders in all kinds of ways that the camera would definitely see through the open door, making motions while chatting and laughing to each other that showed they had quite the time planned for this girl.

Zari kicked the door open, and we entered; Dina was in the shower, and we paused for a second listening to the water running before heading in that direction. Zari kicked the bathroom door open, and Dina screamed.

We each grabbed an arm and dragged her out of the shower. She was crying and begging for help and for us to let her go while we dragged her naked by her arms down the stairs and out to the limo parked on the street.

I got in first and pulled Dina in behind me, still blubbering about how she didn't do anything. We passed one of the glamours , and he slapped her ass, laughing with the other guy.

Once we got inside and out of the camera shot, I opened the door to my world and tossed her inside. Zari followed her in; I closed it and made the limo look like it was driving away, back to the place where there were no cameras, and I dispelled all the glamours and it disappeared.

Lila teleported home, and I stepped through the door to my world to check on Zari. It had been about a day for her, but there were still screams coming from that building I had set up as a temporary thing.

I teleported in and saw a girl hanging from the ceiling screaming with the lower half of her body missing skin, that missing skin was dangling off her still in one piece.

Zari ran over to me for a hug, covered in blood, "Brother! I missed you."

"It looks like you need about another day?"

Zari's hand struck out and pierced into Dina's chest, ripping out her heart. About 10 seconds later, the light faded from her eyes, she hung limply, dead.

"Nope! I need a bath, come with me."

She teleported us into the bathroom and started running the water.

I turned it back off, "I have a better place to go."

I picked her up and opened the door to my world, then teleported us to the bathroom of the penthouse, and she started the water again.

I contacted Elaria to tell her to look at what I saw earlier and we started undressing for the bath.
