Boom! Boom! Boom!
The massive explosions we were creating near the Dreadwood Forest could probably be heard for miles.
I'm sure if anyone lived in the area, they loved us practicing spells this week. Unfortunately, we couldn't practice the really super destructive spells, as they might affect the capital even from as far away as we were. People would be mad at us, and I can't have that yet.
Guess we'll just have to save that for when we blow up the Beastholm capital for Lila's revenge. That won't be too far away now that our business is practically printing money, I've never even seen so much money.
We kept spamming spells until it got dark. Today was our last day, as tomorrow Herbert is retiring, and I'm taking his place.
Elaria spread some blankets for us to sleep, and we went to bed without any delays tonight since we were tired from expending so much mana.
With all the explosions we'd made, it was deathly silent, as not even a cricket dared to chirp. It was a little creepy, but nothing can be done about it.

We made it back to the city without anyone stopping us this time, which reminded me I should check on Karen, well more like the person in charge of her.
"Elaria, go collect the earnings from the brothel again. Lila and I will go meet Herbert."
"Yes, Master."
We parted ways, and Lila and I headed to the top floor of the magic tower.
I pushed open the doors to Herbert's office and stopped partway through the door.
All the shelves were completely empty; the table as well as the desk were piled with papers, even the couches were stacked.
I walked over to the desk and found a piece of paper on top of the rest with my name on it.
Opening it, I read, "Max, I'm not coming into the office tomorrow. You're in charge of the tower now; I'm leaving for a vacation. Remember, the tower master position pays really well!"
"Bastard, he didn't even hold a ceremony or anything." Not that I like parties, rather, I dislike them.
I looked at all the papers; I don't even begin to know how to sort them, but I suppose I should make sure the tower's finances are in order first.
Maybe I should just stack all the papers somewhere and call the floor managers to request a financial report for each floor. Yes, that's what I'll do.
There was a communication artifact on the desk that had a different circuit for each person I would need to contact.
I activated the nine circuits for the floors below me, "Would you please come up to the tower master's office?"
A chorus of yeses came through the artifact, and I started moving all the paperwork into my inventory. I saw some of it was applications to join as a member of the tower and get access to spells; those I'd have to go through, but some of the rest I wasn't sure why I was the one seeing these reports.
Lila decided to check out the balcony, and the wind blew through the open door nearly making the papers a worse mess, but I managed to stop it in time.
A few minutes after I hid all the paperwork, I sat behind the desk and started to organize some little things on the desk, making it more personalized. I was trying to figure out the point of personalizing my desk other than just because everyone does it when the door opened, and the managers entered.
They all started saying their greetings before coming and standing in front of my desk. I leaned back in the chair looking at them.
"Herbert left so many papers I can't find financial reports from the tower, so please each of you get me a new one."
They looked at each other then at me, "Tower Master, I don't think any of us have done any sort of financial report before. Each person who had something to buy or sell just sent each transaction receipt to Herbert at the end of each day."
Was Herbert a fool? He sounds like a fool. Who in the hell can handle all the receipts from the entire tower? What do the people under him even do if not paperwork?
"From now on, have the people under you give you the receipts, then each of you condense them down into a report that you submit to me at the end of every month."
They seemed like they wanted to object, but I gave them my best 'if you don't like it quit' look. I'm 99% sure none of them would quit; they get paid too much.
Sure enough, they just agreed to what I told was going to happen. Why they agreed, not sure. I told them what would happen, no need to agree, you people have no say.
"Is there anything urgent that I need to deal with, or should I just start sorting the room full of papers I got left?"
They shook their heads, and I sent them on their way.
I really didn't feel like sorting through the papers and started thinking of what else I could do. I was a master procrastinator before I died.
I remembered Elaria told me she finished training my new servant. I should check that out; maybe I'll have the new girl sort the papers.
I activated my ring, "Elaria when will you be here? I remember you saying you wanted to show me how your servant training went."
"Yes, Master, I'm just riding the elevator up. Would you like to see her now?"
"Yeah."
"I'll take you down to see her."
I left my office and took the elevator down with Elaria. She led me through a few halls till we reached the door where she left her a while ago.
"Master, she's inside here. I set up an area to train her in everything she needs to do to serve you."
She opened the door for me, and I entered first.
Immediately after I entered, a familiar-looking girl stood in front of me but not in my pathway. She was standing with her hands held together, resting on her stomach; her body was facing where I would walk but not in my way, and her head turned towards me with eyes searching for anything she needed to do.
I took a second to look at her; she really did look beautiful, though not as perfect as Luna or Lila. More like Elaria before cultivation and body tempering pills. Her big brown eyes made her look very cute, especially coupled with the maid uniform.
Elaria handed me a piece of paper; I looked down at it and saw it was a slave contract for her.
"Her name is Alexis. I've signed over the contract to you so you can now do whatever you want with it."
I wondered what would happen if I burned the contract; if she only acts good because of rules Elaria told her to follow, then someday she'll find a way to screw me. I don't think slave contracts make good servants nor should they exist in the first place.
I immediately used magic to burn the contract; I was expecting the girl to try and punch me then storm out and run away. However, I was completely surprised when she started bawling and collapsed the floor.
"Please give me another chance Master! I promise to never disappoint you again, please punish me but please don't make me leave."
I was at a loss for words; wasn't this the same girl who was yelling at Elaria that she'd never be a servant or something?
Elaria spoke up to ask me nervously, "Is there something wrong with her?"
"No, I just don't like slave contracts. If someone wants to do something voluntarily, they can though. I think slave contracts are just a chance to get stabbed in the back somehow."
"So she can make an oath like me then."
"Sure."
The girl immediately bowed to the floor and started speaking, "I, Alexis Cyril, swear to mana to serve you loyally and faithfully to the best of my ability for as long as I live."
"Is there a standard oath or something? You both sounded close to the same."
"Yes, it's very close to the knights' oath, just not about a kingdom but to a single person."
I nodded, "Ok, get up now and act normally."
"Yes, Master."
She shot to her feet with a relieved expression, returning to her previous position. I could tell she was fighting her expression, trying to return it to normal.
I really want to know what Elaria did to her.
Actually, scratch that. I don't wanna know.
I walked past her and sat at the table; she immediately brought over a tea kettle and a cup.
Elaria stood over in the corner watching her like a hawk.
"Would you like tea, master?"
"Yes."
She poured it and returned the kettle to the kitchen while I took a sip. It's ok, but, oh, how I really miss coffee.
Alexis returned from the kitchen area and stood right next to the table in front but off to the side of me; she moved her head back and forth as if looking for something. I wasn't quite sure what it was, maybe just something else to do.
Suddenly, she bent over the table, laying her upper body against the top with her face towards me and flipped the skirt of her uniform up over her butt, clearly not wearing any panties.
I started coughing; tea spewed out of my mouth across the table splattering on her cute face that showed no reaction and ran out of my nose.
A napkin held by Elaria appeared beside me, which I took to wipe my face off.
When I was coughing and wiping my face, I looked at Elaria, "did you teach her this?"
"Yes, Master, I promised Mrs. Lila to make sure you were well taken care of whenever they weren't around. We will always be available to serve you, but also in this way when they aren't around. Also, she's never been touched or I wouldn't even consider her for you."
"So you taught her to do this whenever Lila or Luna aren't around? What about other company?"
"Yes, and not when anyone else is around; only your servants don't count. I also cast magic on us to ensure we were always wet just the perfect amount, and I reduced the amount she feels so there are no problems of addiction or any other problems."
Part of me wondered whether she just unintentionally called Lila a sex addict, but then I realized she included herself when she was talking about the magic she used and stuff.
"Do you… do you not wear any either." I motioned to the bare ass text to me.
"No, Master, I must be ready whenever and as soon as you need me." She pulled up the skirt of her uniform revealing a pre soaked slit, definitely proving what she said before dropping it back down.
I don't know who taught my head servant to be such a fanatic, but when I looked at the one bent over the table, I didn't think I should complain. How did she even teach this? It's good enough that she wants to be my servant now, but how did she change so much.
I looked at her cute face that had an expression as if she were doing any regular task just with some streaks of tea running down towards the table surface and suddenly got the urge to see if I could change it, and just how much it would change.
I stood up and determined, I am definitely changing that expression.
