"Thank you," Sebastian whispered to Jen when they were saying goodbye to Victor and Lynn then on the way home, Jen could feel Sebastian's hand grasping her thigh, while he pretended like nothing was happening:
"So Vincent was already acting out of character," he tried to analyze the situation with all the information that he just received.
Jen found it weird that he would call Vincent by his name and not "Dad", but it was not her business to correct Sebastian- no one knew how hard life must have been for him, it made sense that he had resentment for Vincent.
When the two of them arrived home, Sebastian couldn't wait any longer. He closed the door behind them and quickly pulled Jen into a warm embrace. They shared a long, affectionate kiss, and Sebastian, feeling a bit uncomfortable in his jacket, decided it was time for something more relaxed- he would rather stay at home and order some takeout with Jen but he had to sit in front of his family for so long.
