Jen came home after spending a full day with Faye.
It was amazing to see how she looked so much like Joyce- their mother, well, Jen's adoptive mother.
After knowing that she was adopted, Jen had never wanted to look for her biological family until that day.
Honestly, she thought she was abandoned.
She had seen enough children crying in foster care, looking for their new family, and their parents were not in a good enough state to care for a child.
Jen tried to look for documentation from Joyce and Haris's belongings she was indeed adopted, there must be a certificate or some sort of document that says that they are now a family.
If Vincent was the man who adopted Jen with Joyce, and later Haris became her father, then there must be another adoption process that had been done in order for them to become a real family.
But Jen had gone through everything- even in Papa Ross's place, she couldn't find it, no document.
