Jen has not been doing okay.
Her school was not happy about the rapid changes in her plans- being fired from her internship with YD was not something the school wanted to see.
Since she already missed the beginning of her semester, Jen had to take her last year online- as a working student who doesn't have full access to class materials but does need to complete extra tasks.
During the daytime, all of her friends would go to school, and Sebastian had to go to work. Jen was the only person left in the house, emptying the dishwasher, starting the laundry, and cutting up ingredients for dinner.
All the small minor tasks of the household started to take over her life- she was not happy with the change, but the stability that came with it did give her an odd sense of security.
"Jen, you didn't have to." Tim came home around 4 and saw Jen busy working in the kitchen, "We can all do it together."
