"Tell me. Why did you do this?"
The echo of her voice touches the cold wall and is reflected back into her ears.
"I have said this before. I didn't do anything." A deep voice came from the backside of the room.
There was no light, no light to see.
A small window let in a beam of moonlight but that was not enough to light up even an inch of the room.
"I don't believe you." She said, "I can't believe you again."
"I understand that." He replied, firm and clear, "I don't blame you for that."
"You were the one who broke the trust." Her voice started shaking.
"I know. I am sorry."
"I don't care about what you did, but never again, do I want to hear any bad news from Sebastian." She raised her voice, "He needs to be safe, with me, right next to me."
"I didn't want to hurt him. It wasn't me."
"Haven't you hurt him enough?" She let out a scream, rushing in front of the man, to push him off the chair.
"Bang!"
The man hit the floor.
He didn't get up, he didn't even move.
She stood next to him, watching.
The only movement in that room was the drop of tears rolling down his face.
"Doctor, he fell." She shouted to the outside of the room, then turned around to look at the man on the floor, "Don't make me come back here again to deal with you." Then she was ready to leave the room.
"I know you don't believe me, I don't blame you," The man's voice was so gentle with a hint of sadness, "but it wasn't me. If you want to protect him, please look further."
The woman left, and two doctors rushed into the room and helped the man to get back up.
"It really wasn't me." He said, with no one to respond.
Sitting in the dark dark room, he couldn't help but wonder, what does Sebastian look like now?
And how is he doing?
