Jen came out of her room with teary eyes- she was tired from staying up for so long and her heart was shocked from reading Joyce's words.
Jen now had a much better understanding of what had happened- Joyce's words were like a time machine, bringing Jen back to the past:
Apparently, Joyce had always had a crush on Vincent.
She didn't have contact with a lot of people her age and Vincent was like an older brother she had never had.
Vincent was also dropping hints to her occasionally- Joyce joked about all his awkward signs with him when they finally got together....
She seemed so happy when she was with Vincent, exploring love, exploring jealousy... But it was all cut too short.
Jen stumbled out of Joyce's room after she finished reading it- she knew that she had to give these missing diaries to Papa Ross, he deserved to know the truth more than anyone else in the world- Joyce would want him to.
