Luna was the most confident person Jen had ever met and it was so in a very positive way.
She would go around school in whatever outfits she threw together just because she felt like it- the first time Jen paid attention to her was when Luna showed up to a formal meeting wearing a pink short skirt.
When she was advised to put on something else, Luna quickly came back in the same skirt but with a black legging with hallowed heart designs on it.
"I don't care," she explained to her friends that she just hated it when people restricted others with what they wanted to do and that she didn't even like wearing leggings.
That was when Jen was the most self-conscious with her scars and body image- during summer times, every university would turn into the secret beauty show that no one expected. Young, stunning girls would take advantage of the best time of their lives to express themselves while Jen had to hide her legs underneath heavy clothing.
