Jen didn't remember how she got home that day, her legs were shaking from the moment Grandpa Ross murmured out that she might not be Joyce's daughter.
Sebastian took her home even though Grandpa Ross offered to let them stay for the night- in that way, Jen could also get the news when her test with Joyce was done.
"What did he mean I might not be Joyce's daughter?" Jen asked Seastian on the way back, "I am her daughter, Joyce was my mom!"
Sebastian couldn't say much, he was also not aware of the situation so all he could do was to hold Jen closer and give her more support.
All of Jen's friends were waiting downstairs for her and Sebastian to get back. But they knew not to ask too much when they saw Jen's puffy eyes.
Sebastian helped Jen to get into bed, then headed down to talk to their friends.
