Amy held the small piece of paper in her hand while she walked out of Lynn's office- she knew that there was definitely something in it but if people were to keep an eye on her, she might get everyone in trouble.
"What did you do inside?" Amy went into the office and ran into another nurse who was supposed to be preparing the medication for the next day.
"Checking on the crazy lady, you know," Amy tried to brush it off as if she hadn't spoken to Lynn before.
"Yeah, I know, crazy how that man bought the entire floor just to help the lady. What relationship do you think they are? Secret lover? He hasn't even visited her."
Amy had to spend a while finishing up the conversation then she finally had the time and space to check on the paper ball Lynn was hiding.
She had been holding it in her hand for so long that the ink was a little smudged- it was indeed a note, and on top of it was a line of numbers with the big bold letters of SOS.
