Sebastian knew that something was wrong when he and Victor walked into the meeting room.
Even though the people weren't usually 100% thrilled to see him, they still had to fake some sort of respect for him as a formality- since he was still the CEO and his family stood behind him.
But today, when Sebastian and Victor entered the room, he could feel the gazing eyes of many, glaring at him, as if they had been waiting very long for a moment of clarity and Sebastian owed it to them.
"Feels weird," he whispered to Victor as he noticed the changes in people's reactions, but Victor did not seem to notice anything.
He stepped into the meeting room with his usual confidence and started chatting with everyone-
"Hey man, how is everything recently, yeah it has been a while, but my baby Sebastian has been doing so well right?"
