When I woke up again the first thing I did was to try and open my system but all it displayed was this
[[System]]

So I decided to wash up, get dressed, have breakfast and try out magic for the first time in my new life.
And maybe even have a look around to see if there is something interesting close by.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The first thing I did after exiting my new home was to stretch and look around just in case something is watching me but as far as I could see the coast or in this case the treeline is clear.
So I turned around expecting to see my new home but all I saw was the shop front of my home no whole building nope just the window displaying the potions and the open door... I took a look behind it but there just was what looked like a solid brick wall...
So of course I try to push against the wall just to check but as one would expect it didn't move.
While I find it kind of sad that I can't really look at my full home from the outside but thinking about it. It's also kinda awe inspiring that my home is like one of those Space attribute relics.
After a bit of admiring the store front and noticing a sign above the door that displays a upside down Witches hat with some potions inside it and the same symbol on the hat as the door has on its window.
I grab a Satchel put the books about beast's and monsters as well as a book about magic inside it and decide to leave for now
*Katchunk* *plop*
Looking dumbfounded at the doorknob in my hands that is no longer connected to said door.
"Why can i even remove the doorknob? Is this thing that old or did i just?..."
Looking back infront of me the storefront was already quite a bit see-through and I just saw the rest fade away and it didn't even leave behind an imprint in the grass...
What just happened? So I looked at the only thing left and that was the Doorknob in my hands
And now that I have a closer look at the doorknob on the front I see the same intricat carving as was on the doors the only difference being the snowflake was a blue glowing crystal.
The sides were full of circular carvings with symbols I can't identify let alone understand their meaning or purpose but I think with my lackluster understanding of Arcane symbols I won't even scratch the surface of what symbol does what effect.
And looking at the back I see a message that makes me wonder if all this was planned from the start...
A simple message but making me want to meet her non the less.
even though I don't know her personally let alone so far the only info I have found says that she is dead...
Let's hope they are wrong ...
Putting the artifact into the Satchel I focus back on having a look around and judging by the sun it is still early in the day so I decided to go.... that way.
I think this is south east ish in direction.
So for the next hour? Or two I kinda just walk around not finding a lot in the grand scheme of things.
But I wasn't expecting to find a demon lords castle out in the middle of nowhere so yeah but ßround the 3 hour mark I find a nice idyllic place consisting of a few large rocks near a waterfall that drops into a small lake.
So I decided to sit down on one of the large rocks and enjoy the scenery for a moment or two before I grabbed the book about magic and just start to read it.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I literally sat here for an hour or three wrapping my head around magic.
So what I managed to understand are a few basic symbols for arrow type spells alongside how they work
So they are to a small degree like a programm with the symbols meaning
A arrow that needs to explode in the target is alot more symbol intensive that one that just needs to fire forward and stick in the target for a bit.
Aside from their complex variety in symbols they also have a few easy things to understand. the circle is there to balance out the Mana flow of the spell and yes there can also be spells with more than one circle due to their complexity of symbols that can make them more unstable.
Other than those things the one of the crucial parts of it is that the runes closer to the core have higher priority than the ones on the outside,at least that is during the formation stage of the magic circle.
The other one being that the core of the magic circle is not only the storage but also the 'trigger' for its activation.
Meaning while you are forming the circle, filling up the center of it to full before the rest is the number one reason it would blow up in your face. because the energy has nothing to go off of and so just relatively violently expands due to it being triggered to release when filled with energy.
So I'm kinda amazed no one has placed a trigger word into the core as a safety, so it can't blow up until it was either said or until it has been formed inside the circle.
Oh and here is the order spells are usually formed in. they usually start with the size of the core rune then comes the circle of the spell, where it is important that the core and the circle are of a balanced size.
And lastly are the runes where the first ones are more often than not the ones closest to the core due to them being the ones that define the shape of the spell.
After that is done fill up the core to fire it off and congrats you are a wizard Harry.
While it is also crucial that you keep the circle manifested with Mana, that should be the smallest problem after you have shot your first few spells.
But looking at the sky, it is surprisingly late now. so I better test if I can use the doorknob to have a bed to sleep in or if I just screwed myself by having closed it because of my unfamiliarity with Mana...
So I'm just gonna grab it walk next to a decently spacious part before the cliff next to the waterfall hold it up around the height I last remembered and twist in the hope that it opens?
*click* *screech*
... That was easy?
Alright I'm not gonna complain about it being easy to use, infact I'm kinda glad it is but let's end the day with a last snack and go to bed.
