Anastasia's Point of View:
If mood swings were a person, then Andrew was definitely it. I couldn't understand what could have erupted such a response from him, but I quietly retreated and looked away. I thought we were joking around, and I would have never seen the file anyway. I was just intrigued for a second but at the end of the day it was his privacy which I would have never invaded.
"I'll be in my room," I muttered under my breath loud enough for him to hear and went to the room my stuff was kept in.
I heard him sigh out loud before I entered the room. I shook my thoughts. Obviously, it wasn't going to be so easy to make him fall in love or even like me, but I knew it was gonna happen eventually.
After all, I was his first girlfriend.
I slept a few moments later because I was tired. It was also supposed to be a busy day tomorrow with the company opening ceremony and I was sure that my family was going to be ringing my phone notoriously.
I was in contact with them—sure, but our relationship was just "pretend-good". We all pretended to love and care but I know she doesn't give a fuck about me—not in a way a mother should. She only cares because I'm the only heir to Calder Cosmos but I want nothing to do with it. About dad, he's mostly in the shadow of my mother, so I don't even really know what he thinks.
I hadn't told them that I was going to start the new company. I managed to do all the arrangements from my hometown and on my own, and tomorrow it was gonna be a headline. Mostly, people would advertise far and wide so people would know about the company but my case was the opposite because I knew that if my family found out prior to the ceremony, they'd try their best to stop it. And their best was very, very hard to overcome.

The morning next I woke up to the scent of roses. I took a long sniff before I even opened my eyes because I loved the smell of roses the most. I opened my eyes and saw a very—and I meant VERY—large bouquet of different kinds of roses kept on the table. It was so big that it almost covered the entire table.
I squinted my eyes in confusion and got up immediately. I walked over to them. As I was touching a petal, I heard a knock on the door.
I opened the door and Andrew stood there with a soft smile.
"You like 'em?" His morning voice was… well, sexy.
A light blush crept to my cheeks as I realised he had bought them for me and I tried my best to hide it.
"Yeah, roses are always pretty," I stepped back and he entered the room.
"I'm sorry for what I said yesterday." He said slowly and looked at me. He picked up a rose from the bouquet and extended it toward me. "Truce?"
I took it. "I'll think about it," I smirked.
He chuckled. "C'mon, you loved it when I said sorry."
"Of course I did," I kept the rose down on the table. "Make sure to never do anything like that ever again."
"Like apologising?"
"Like doing things that make you apologise later!"
"Well, you should work on your English," He smirked this time.
I shook my head dramatically.
"Anyway, you going to the company today?" He raised his eyebrows. I nodded. "Cool. Do you want me to come with?"
" Uh, are you free?" I asked. I didn't want to keep him from working on whatever 'the file' was about.
"Yeah, sure."
"Alright then. I'll be down in an hour and let's go together." I smiled.
He flashed me a smile before leaving the room. I took a deep breath. God. God! His smile was so pretty, and I blushed so deep whenever he smiled. His gestures had turned so sweet lately, I mean apart from yesterday but he apologised, right? It was like, I didn't have to make him love me to treat me nicely. I had a different level of admiration for someone who respected others and showed them care even without personal affection. If everyone was like this, the world would be so much happier.
If being just his "pretend" girlfriend was like this, I wondered what it would be like when he finally fell in love with me.
I looked at the bouquet once again, smiling, before going to the wardrobe and choosing one of the suits. This time it was a greyish one, with a peach shirt. I went to take a shower immediately and enjoyed a long hot one.
After around twenty minutes, I wrapped a towel around myself and came out, picking the shirt. As I was about to unwrap the towel, the door suddenly opened and I gasped—not turning around to see who entered because of embarrassment.
"Who—Who is it?" I asked, knowing 99% it was Andrew but I wasn't completely sure.
No one replied and I really cursed whoever it was. God damn, just leave or answer me! This was such an awkward situation to be in, and turning around was—I think—going to make things so much worse.
I felt movements and my heart rate increased. Could it be an intruder? But this… mansion is well protected, right?
I could turn around but I felt very uncomfortable to face the person—the towel was wrapping my body but it wasn't that huge.
Stacy wouldn't enter without knocking—and even Andrew wouldn't, right?
I took a deep breath and decided to see who it was. As soon as I turned around, my eyes widened.
