Days passed and work at the pastries shop moved smoothly but the owner wasn't okay with the steady pace, so he gathered them all together, including Justin.
"We need some kind of promotional activity. Something that will inform the public that there's such a shop." The owner, Quaid, said.
"Like an advertisement?" Quinella asked.
"Yes!" Quaid nodded.
"Then why don't we use flyers? Pass em all out and post em everywhere? The people are sure to get interested if the contents are catchy." Justin suggested.
"No, that won't do." Krystal shook her head. "Plain flyers can't be 'catchy'. It won't catch the attention of the people."
"So, do you suggest?" Carly asked.
"We need something spontaneous that will draw their attention and leave a nice aftertaste. Once they remember it by chance, they will surely want to visit us more. It should be like a free concert or something like that." Krystal suggested.
"And I'm guessing you'll perform?" Justin asked with a raised eyebrow and Krystal took a step towards him, smiling sheepishly.
"Why not, Justin? Or do you want to perform?" She asked and Justin took a step back.
"There's an old piano at the store. Who can play?" Quaid asked.
"Krystal can." Quinella suddenly said and they all looked at Krystal.
Krystal on the other hand, wasn't so sure of herself. She stretched her head over to Quinella and whispered in hushed tone.
"Why did you say that?" She asked.
"Come on. I worked at the palace for a while to know that the princess is very talented with musical instruments, especially the piano." Quinella whispered back and smiled with so much confidence.
"Krystal, if you can't do it, it's fine. We aren't forcing anyone..." Quaid said.
"No, no. That's not it." She waved her hands in defence. "Of course I can do it. I'll do it." She agreed.
"Instead of going through all that, why not do a promo of buy one get one free?" Carly suggested folding her arms and a brilliant idea struck Krystal.
"Or, we could have a night of a free concert and free dessert. Once the people see how good and hospitable we are, plus the delicious pastries, they're bound to come back for more. We could make it our official opening night. How's that?" Krystal spoke so fast that she should have been out of breath but she wasn't. She stared at them, waiting for a response.
"That's… pretty smart." Carly said, breaking the silence.
"I know, right?" Krystal chuckled.
"Okay, so we've got ourselves a promotional gig. I can sponsor." He said and Mr Quaid nodded. He had no problem with his employees giving help like this.
"Oh, me too." Krystal raised her hand and smiled at Justin. It would've seemed like she was challenging him but she wasn't. She just wanted to catch his attention.
Though Justin ignored her, he was actually impressed by her idea.
"Okay, now comes the other part. Just how are we going to get the word out successfully?" Justin asked, trying not to show how impressed he felt.
"That, my friend..."
"Not your friend." He interrupted and she rolled her eyeballs.
"...is where your idea comes in handy." She completed. "We'll print out flyers and posters. It won't be just about the shop but about the free stuff so it will definitely get their attention. Let's spread the word and get the world." She smiled and he couldn't help but wonder.
Mr Quaid clasped his hands together.
"Then it's settled. Justin and Krystal, team up to spread the word."
"What?!" Justin exclaimed shocked.
"That's great!" Krystal exclaimed pleased. "We won't let you down, Mr Quaid."
