Instantaneously, the Director disappeared the instant he appeared. It was as if there was a mist, with him not actually being present.
As though he was laggy, like someone in a computer game, he kept appearing and disappearing in random places around her. While the Pope tried to pinpoint his location, it only made things worse and worse as his behaviour was seemingly unpredictable. He was phasing in and out constantly, as though he wanted to prove that there was nothing she could do. However, that wasn't the truth.
The Director was hesitant. Hesitant to approach the Pope, who was unmoving from her position. The reason for this was simple - she was keeping a field of Emberions around her, which acted like her gravitational force.
